Dear Brian,
Paul McCartney in Halifax, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver… we seem to work together on very special occasions! Your presence, on stage and in the studio, help us maintain the quality of service our clients expect from us. I look forward to many more years of collaboration with you.
Thank you very much.
Guillaume Bengle, Le Studio Mobile
Brian worked for David Atkins Enterprises Canada Limited, the Company responsible for the successful delivery of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Opening , Closing and Victory Ceremonies. Brian not only assisted the Senior Broadcast Engineer mixing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies but was also responsible for mixing the Victory Ceremonies in 5.1 Surround Sound. I found Brian not only to be honest, reliable and a great engineer but he also was a team player who integrated easily into the Ceremonies Audio Team. After employing him to work on one of the largest live broadcasts in the world I have no hesitation in recommending Brian for any broadcast role.

Audio Director 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics
Brian is an expert in the show production field. He is well respected by colleagues, artists and clients.
He is a pleasure to work with, professional and approachable. Once he was hired, we never had to worry about any technical aspects of the event. He managed any issues, and kept us informed at all times.
I highly recommend his services to manage any size production.

Brian,
The show and the movie sound fantastic, truly world class work. I also really appreciate, not sure if you remember, but you said I could have that HD projector at the end of the mix.
I really appreciate that, and will arrange with Rita to have it picked up.
Thanks for your passion,
Mike Clattenburg (Director, Trailer Park Boys)

I appreciated how easy it was to get in contact with Brian. He was fast with his responses and diligent in his follow-up. It's great to have a sound guy that dependable in Halifax, and I'd definitely choose to use Hideout Studios again.

There are so many good things to say about working with Brian, but the best part about working with him is that your project becomes his project. The dedication, passion and support that Brian provides in the post sound process is beyond compare. Plus he is a really fun dude to hang out with!!

Hi Brian,
I just wanted you to know that we premiered An Uncommon King yesterday to a full house. It sounded amazing. People laughed. People cried. It was really well received.
Thank you so much for your excellent work. You’re a gem.

Hello Sound Team,
We finally finished the sound and picture for Afghan Luke and I was able to screen the first print at the lab today in glorious Dolby Digital. The mix sounded fantastic! I was really impressed to hear all the great work from the beautiful score, the amazing work on the dialogue and the great sound effects & foley. Normally I am more involved in the mix, so it was fun to hear the final result of the mix fully finished and complete for the first time.
Thanks for the great work and I hope we get to meet again on another project soon!
Doug Wilkinson
Post Production Supervisor, Afghan Luke
Brian ;
Thank you so much for such a fantastic job during ECMA . It was my first big project
and we hit it out the PARK !! The mixes were great and your support is deeply
appreciated . At a time when I had so many things to think about it was reassuring to
know that I had people sitting in the chairs that wouldn't let me down .
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ............
