Brian Power - Owner, Hideout Studios

Brian Power is one of the leading Re Recording Mixers in Canada, with six Canadian Screen Award nominations and two consecutive wins for "Best Sound Design" at the Atlantic Film Festival. In 2010, Brian co-engineered the Opening, Closing and Victory Ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, to a worldwide audience of four billion viewers. Brian has supplied content to every major network and studio in North America, including NBC, CBS, ABC, Nat Geo, Discovery, PBS, CBC, CTV and countless speciality channels. Brian also supported the Oscar winning sound team for "Inception". In 2011, Brian constructed "The Hideout Studios", a pair of top tier post production facilities to provide the highest level of quality for his clients. 2015 saw Brian win the Screen Nova Scotia Film Crew Excellence Award.
